Mexican-inspired Sushi Burritos

Steps


  • Prepare sushi rice according to package instructions.

  • Slice avocado, red bell pepper, carrots, and cucumber into thin strips.

  • Slice sushi-grade raw tuna into thin strips.

  • In a small bowl, mix lime juice, soy sauce, and sriracha sauce to make a spicy mayo.

  • Lay a piece of nori seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat.

  • Spread a layer of sushi rice on the nori, leaving a small border at the top.

  • Arrange the avocado, red bell pepper, carrots, cucumber, and sushi-grade raw tuna on top of the rice.

  • Drizzle the spicy mayo over the filling.

  • Roll the sushi burrito tightly using the bamboo mat.

  • Slice the sushi burrito into bite-sized pieces.

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and fresh cilantro on top.

  • Serve the Mexican-inspired sushi burritos with additional soy sauce and spicy mayo for dipping.
